Lawnbrook Road Transfer Station

The City of Kalamunda has been at the forefront of waste management for a number of years and has the distinction of having opened the first transfer station for public use in Western Australia. Built in 1976, the Transfer Station is located on Lawnbrook Road, Walliston.

  •  Prunings and branches (greenwaste)
  •  Lawn clippings and leaves
  •  Motor oil (max 20 litres)
  •  Motor vehicle tyres (Please see below charges)
  •  Vehicle batteries
  •  Pale and pine timber
  •  Cardboard (flattened, no plastic packaging)
  •  Fluorescent lights
  •  Dry-cell batteries
  •  Metal of any type (Cut to a maximum of 1.5m length, width, height and not solid)
  •  Bricks/Building Rubble
