Free Weekend Tours for Community Members (2.5 hours)

At various times throughout the year, EMRC's Waste Education team provides a free bus tour of the Red Hill Waste Management Facility for residents of Perth's Eastern Region.

The tours provide an informative behind-the-scenes look at what is involved in managing household waste. The tour will take participants to areas not seen by the general public to observe waste diversion programs, the Landfill Gas & Power Station site, the tip face and green waste recovery. After the site tour, participants are invited to visit Red Hill's Environmental Education Centre for morning tea and a look at our waste education activities.

Tours are suitable for both adults and children, and bookings are essential.
