Total Green Recycling Tour

 

Thursday 15 November 2018

3.00 pm to 4.00 pm

 

Join us during National Recycling Week by taking part in our tour of Total Green Recycling.  Your electronic goods (e-waste) have many precious components which should not end up in landfill. Find out how e-waste is dismantled and how the valuable products are recovered.

There is only one tour available and places are limited. Please let us know if you cannot attend so your place can be given to someone else.  Anyone who has previously not turned up to a tour may be put on the waiting list.

Please note that children under the age of 15 are unable to attend.

All participants MUST wear long pants, long sleeved shirt and closed shoes.  Anyone not meeting these requirements will not be able to participate and will be turned away.

Open to residents of the Cities of Bayswater, Belmont, Kalamunda and Swan, the Town of Bassendean and the Shire of Mundaring. Evidence of residency may be required.

Cleanaway Materials Recovery Facility Tour

During National Recycling Week, see how your yellow top recycling bin is sorted at the Cleanaway Materials Recovery Facility in Guildford.

Join in for a tour of the facility to see what happens once your recycling bin has been collected from the kerbside. 

There is only one tour available and places are limited. Please let us know if you cannot attend so your place can be given to someone else.  Anyone who has previously not turned up to a tour may be put on the waiting list.

Please note that children under the age of 15 are unable to attend.

Please be aware there is three (3) flights of stairs to be navigated to reach the viewing room.
