Earth Carers Registration

Registrations are now open for our next Earth Carers course which will commence on Tuesday, May 7 2019. Please see below for the program dates/times and topics. You can secure a place in our next course by registering here. The course is intended for people can commit to all five sessions and who live in Perth's Eastern Region (Cities of Bayswater, Belmont, Kalamunda and Swan, the Town of Bassendean and the Shire of Mundaring). Should you be interested but may not be able to attend all five sessions, or you do not live in the region, please get in touch via WasteEducation@emrc.org.au .

The Earth Carers course is made up of five sessions over three weeks including two field trips. Participants should attend a minimum of 4 sessions to gain the most from the course.  Participants who complete all 5 sessions will become official Earth Carers.

Evening sessions run from 6.00pm to approximately 8.30pm and the Saturday sessions run from approximately 10.00am to 1.00pm.

The course is FREE to attend and you will gain knowledge, share ideas and learn practical ways of reducing waste at home and in the community.

Through the completion of the Earth Carers course, Earth Carers join a community of like-minded people and help to promote waste minimisation in the local community.

If you have any queries, please contact the EMRC Waste Education team by emailing WasteEducation@emrc.org.au.

Can't make it to our next course in May but you're still interested?

Please register your expression of interest for an upcoming course by completing the form below.  Once we have enough people waiting, we schedule the next course and email everyone on the list letting you know registrations are open.  We try to run the course at least twice a year around May and October/November, however these timings can change depending on the numbers of people registering their expression of interest.
