Transfer stations

Conditions of entry* - transfer station passes
Transfer stations are available for Mundaring residents to conveniently recycle and dispose of items, provided that a valid pass is shown at the entry gate. The pass is found at the bottom of the annual rates notice.

All Shire of Mundaring households with a kerbside bin collection are entitled to one transfer station
pass, allowing unlimited disposal of certain recyclables for 12 months and includes three entries for
disposal of general waste. Additional entry tickets can be purchased at a cost of $50 each.

Households that do not receive a weekly bin collection are also eligible to access the transfer station (charges apply) and purchase entry tickets for general waste equivalent to 140 litres by contacting the Shire on (08) 9290 6716.

Larger loads will require handing over multiple tickets. No commercial vehicles are allowed at any transfer station.

Passes can be found at the bottom of the rates notice.  Lost or misplaced passes can be re-issued to ratepayers at a cost of $30. Reminder - No pass, No entry.
