Waste Matters

Community tours (1 - 1.5 hours)

Free tours of the Red Hill Waste Management Facility are available for interested individuals and groups during weekdays.

The tour provides an informative behind-the-scenes look at what is involved in managing waste for Perth's Eastern Region. The tour will take participants to areas not seen by the general public to observe waste diversion programs, the Landfill Gas & Power Station site, the tip face and green waste recovery.

Participants can also visit the Environmental Education Centre and learn what to do at home to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Bookings are essential, as there is limited bus seating.
