What else can I do with HHW?

Residents living in the Town of Bassendean, City of Bayswater, City of Belmont, Shire of Kalamunda, Shire of Mundaring and City of Swan can take up to 20kg/20L of HHW items as listed above to Red Hill Waste Management Facility for free disposal. However, if mixed waste (i.e. both general waste and HHW items) are taken together to Red Hill, a fee may be payable.

Don't forget to check if other recycling options for HHW are available. For example, car batteries can be returned to many retailers for recycling; there are numerous recycling bins available in Perth's Eastern Region for dry-cell batteries and fluorescent globes. See A-Z Recycling Guide to check your options.
