Zero Waste Shopping Tour

 

Monday 13 November

10.00 am to 12.00 pm

 

Start National Recycling Week by taking part in our Zero Waste Tour to see in action how to purchase grocery items with your reusable containers. Facilitated by the Wasteless Pantry, we will visit a butcher, bakery, bulk food store and green grocer as well as having all of your questions answered. The tour will be based in Mundaring but there will be a bus with a pick up from Midland Train station.

Open to residents of the Cities of Bayswater, Belmont, Kalamunda and Swan, the Town of Bassendean and the Shire of Mundaring.

Cleanaway Materials Recovery Facility Tour
 

Tuesday 14 November

9.30 am tour or 11.00 am tour

During National Recycling Week, see how your yellow top recycling bin is sorted at the Cleanaway Materials Recovery Facility in Guildford. Join in for a tour of the facility to see what happens once your recycling bin has been collected from the kerbside. There are two tour times available. Please note that children under the age of 18 are unable to attend.

Open to residents of the Cities of Bayswater, Belmont, Kalamunda and Swan, the Town of Bassendean and the Shire of Mundaring.
