EMRC accredited under Australian Standard AS4454 for 'Mulch Compost'

In October 2009, the EMRC became the first local government in Australia to receive accreditation under Australian Standard AS4454 (composts, soil conditioners and mulches) for 'Mulch Compost' manufactured at the EMRC's Red Hill Waste Management Facility.

Mulch Compost is processed from green waste collected from member Council verge collections, transfer stations and parks and gardens maintenance. For more information on mulch compost click here.
